Glutathione (also known as GSH) is the most potent antioxidant in the body.
It is synthesised in the body from the Amino acids L-Cysteine, L-Glutamic acid and Glycine.
It is given intravenously over 10 to 15 minutes in 50 ml of 0.9% normal saline.
